Children's Books
Tamara Tavernier "Rainbow" wrote her first book in 2003 in her native language of Dutch. Since then she has written three children’s books and one illustrated poem-art book.
Her first book: "Father Sun where do you sleep?" is now available in English. Through this book Rainbow takes children on a journey accross the world to find the mystery of the Sun. The characters of the book, Ben, Bob and Bo find that the Sun is within themselves. Through this beautifully illistrated story, she reminds the children of their own power and that they must learn to listen to their more inner voice, their own "little Sun."
She used "Father Sun where do you sleep?" her art-workshops with children that she conducetd in libraries and schools in Belgium. In the workshops she introduces the children to the world of art and takes them on a journey to find the mystery of the Sun. The essence and the philosophy of Rainbow’s book and her vision is that the Sun is within. She teaches the children how to listen to their inner little Sun and then teaches them to paint from there. She reminds the children of their own power, and then she watch as the creative spirit of the children comes alive and miracles happen. "Her talent to communicate with children in the 6 to 12 year old age is wonderful and clearly has a long-term positive effect on the children’s attitude and self-esteem." - Sounds like a quote from someone.
